Thermoflooring, flooring made from thermal treated hard wood, allows the first time, the use of massive wooden flooring in refurbishment. The excellent dimensional stability and the increased hardness allow the production of thin massive wooden flooring at small thicknesses (approx. 10 mm) fulfilling the needs of flooring.

With this thickness massive wooden flooring can also be used in refurbishment. In this sector usually laminate floorings, vinyl flooring (i.e. PVC) or textile floor coverings are the most wide spread materials. The artificial raw materials (out of the petrochemical and plastics industry) for these floorings can be substituted by the renewable raw material wood. Using the glueless connection system, as planned in HOLIWOOD, also the use of synthetic glues is reduced to an absolute minimum.
